In communities around Louisiana, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them. Boys & Girls Clubs offer that and more.

The Louisiana Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs is made up of 13 member Boys & Girls Clubs organizations comprising 45 Clubs sites across the state. Those Club sites offer programs and services which promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. Boys & Girls Clubs in Louisiana serve more than 32,000 kids each year, and that number is growing all the time.

Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow -- all while having fun. It is truly The Positive Place For Kids.

Our Mission is:

To inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

A Boys & Girls Club Provides:

  • A safe place to learn and grow...
  • Ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals...
  • Life-enhancing programs and character development experiences...
  • Hope and opportunity.
